A few words about 8mm film transfers and DVDs...
8mm and Super 8 film is captured in High Definition; unfortunately, DVD players only support Standard Definition. There are a couple of solutions to this; convert them to standard definition (which reduces the quality) so that a DVD player will play it, or put the HD video files on a flash drive and play them on a smart TV via the TV's USB port. You can also play them on a computer from the flash drive. In addition, some computers are capable of sending the videos wirelessly to compatible TVs.
Standard Definition
Film to DVD [$ = calculated base rate + $10 each DVD]
DVDs hold approximately 2 hours of footage. Each additional DVD copy is $10 per disc.
*Note: DVDs are limited to Standard Definition files only.
High Definition
Film to Flash Drive [$ = calculated base rate + $15 each flash drive]
Film transfer files are delivered on USB flash drives (up to 32GB each). If larger or additional flash drives are needed, the price will be adjusted accordingly.
Premium HD
Film to flash drive + image upgrade using Artificial Intelligence software
[$ = calculated base rate + $10 for each film reel upgraded + $15 for flash drive].
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) software improves the sharpness and color quality of the transfer, and is $10 for each film reel it is applied to.
Film transfer files are delivered on USB flash drive (up to 32GB each).
If larger or additional flash drives are needed, the price will be adjusted accordingly.
